BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System ® is a holistic and body-centered approach to healing that integrates conscious breathwork with elements of bioenergetics and mindfulness. Developed to address the impact of trauma and stress on the body-mind system, it aims to release stored tension, promote emotional release and restore a sense of well-being. Tracking the felt sense and reconnecting with bodily sensations, you improve the resiliency of your nervous system and learn how to stay present and conscious when faced with difficult emotions and sensations.
Breath
Deep, connected breathing activates the sympathetic nervous system and provides access to the physical aspects of the trauma-release process.
Movement
Allowing the body to move freely and inviting spinal undulations and unwinding, areas of tension are opened up.
Touch
Conscious touch, bodywork and soft-tissue manipulation are used to support the release of tension and stored trauma in targeted areas of the body. Touch may include work in the energetic field or at a deeper core level, allowing fascia and muscles to relax.
Sound
Sound, vocal expression and music can support the nervous system and enable further release and relaxation.
Emotions
Expressing emotion is a vital part of what makes us human and able to connect with ourselves and others. Breathwork sessions allow for a slow emotional release in a safe environment to avoid overstimulation.
